Four universities asked to stop admissions by HEC

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has stopped four universities from enrolling students in any degree program due to non-compliance of HEC regulations.

The institutes include:

  • Preston Institute of Management Sciences and Technology (PMSAT) Karachi
  • Royal College of Business Studies, Lahore
  • Global Institute, Lahore and
  • Al-Khair University Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Institutions were sent constant reminders to address the issues ,according to HEC, but without success.

Apart from the main campuses, universities sub-campuses, branches or affiliated colleges have also been told to not allow students to enter into any program at any level.
